Client Slogan
- Giving the warmth you’ve needed
- Feel your dignity
- Providing joy through socks
- Socks are known to give warmth, but for your feet. Many homeless communities don’t get that experience often, so The Joy of Sox has given the warmth you’ve needed.
- Dignity was a piece that Tom Costello Jr. referred to a few times, so I believed it’s a significant aspect to see through. Sometimes homeless communities may feel they’ve lost their dignity by the way they’re treated, hence feel your dignity.
- To provide joy to someone is uplifting in a way, and knowing a simple pair of socks can bring so much joy to someone is humbling.
Building Awareness
For starters, many communities have no idea The Joy of Sox exists so a simple poster advertisement or handout to neighborhoods could be a potential start. Through that, word-of-mouth continues or even friends from other neighborhoods coming over and seeing the poster. Another way to catch some attention could be partnering with a school where kids can hold a fundraiser with how many socks can you bring in. The main idea the Joy of Sox is trying to stick in the prospects’ mind is that socks can be more important than food, so any pair of new socks can help more than you would think.
Marketing Appeal
Giving the warmth you’ve needed most.
This slogan informs the audience that the nonprofit organization, The Joy of Sox, gives the warmth you’ve needed most. Many communities aren’t informed or don’t understand that socks are a very crucial material to all, and there isn’t enough awareness for many to know about. Slogans are a very important piece to an organization, especially one that’s working towards building more awareness to communities. So “giving the warmth you’ve needed most” comes to show a different type of mindfulness.
Marketing Tactics
Event Marketing: holding events like sock drives that are accessible to communities, gives The Joy of Sox a larger audience to reach. Reaching other communities can make a big impact through word-of-mouth too.
Social Media: this is a simple, cheap, and effective way to promote The Joy of Sox. Their social media platforms need more content so viewers can follow, contact and join.
Public Relations: this is broad, but it’s an umbrella term for making connections. In order to get the word out about The Joy of Sox, there needs to be more awareness and attention brought to the organization. More connections being made.
